HEADS UP

First off, thank you for following along. The Stoop was never meant to grow this fast; it was meant to be a side project that if successful, would ideally help maybe a few hundred people who were in need of friends, communities, or just things to do to get out of the house that were within walking, biking or T’ing distance. It was built around a simple idea: improve your social life by even 1%, through curated and highly social events in the form of a simple newsletter with catchy hooks.

Fast forward six months later and The Stoop is now reaching over a thousand Cambridge & Somerville subscribers each week, along with tens of thousands of impressions through re-shares & outreach on social. So whether you’re a student who’s only here for a couple of years, a transplant who’s still making their dent in Camberville, or a local who is always curious on new events in the area, thank you.

What’s next? Since the first ever newsletter drop, I’ve been flooded with emails and messages on people wanting to add their events to these weekly drops..well after months of promising I’d make that available “soon,” it’s finally here.
