Turkey Wings & Low Key Things
It’s a quieter stretch, but not empty. Holiday paint sessions, a Starry Night class, the Harvard Square tree lighting, Aeronaut’s mixers and a few drop-in hangs still bring some life to the long weekend. If you want something before the turkey coma or after it fades, here’s what’s worth your time.

A packed mixer for singles aged 21–35 hosted by the Thursday App, taking over Bow Market’s upstairs bar and balcony for a night of conversation, music, and drinks. The crowd’s there to chat, laugh, and actually meet offline, with your first drink included and a few light icebreakers to keep things moving

Christmas Treet Lighting in Harvard Square @ The Charles Hotel, Cambridge – The 40th annual tree lighting features a literary theme, live holiday music, a life-sized gingerbread house, festive snacks, cozy lounge setups and special guest appearances | FREE, 4–7pm

COMING UP NEXT WEEK

A structured singles night with fast-paced games, curated conversation prompts and a calling-card system that lets you signal interest without awkward asks. You’ll rotate through short rounds, meet a lot of people quickly and move at your own pace while themed cocktails help keep things loose

Show off some of your powerpoint skills and your friends even more — Pitch A Friend is holding a live show where attendees pitch their single friends in short 4-5 slide presentations, highlighting what makes them a catch. The crowd hears each pitch, asks quick questions and then everyone mingles, plays light games and meets the singles afterward

A free mixology class led by Boston Beverage Catering where you learn how to build holiday-season cocktails and mocktails, with hands-on guidance and all ingredients provided. Space is limited and registration is required; each RSVP covers one participant and a 21+ ID is needed for alcohol service
